The problem BR2H set out to solve
Employer health programs have always had the same flaw: they reach everyone equally, which means they reach no one in time. Annual screenings and generic wellness portals treat a 28-year-old marathoner and someone on the way to a serious chronic condition exactly the same. BR2H was founded by epidemiologists and data engineers to change that — to find the small share of a workforce whose health trajectory is heading toward a high-cost condition while intervention is still possible.
How the platform works
BR2H is a predictive analytics layer, not a clinic and not a diagnostic device:
- Signal collection: the platform ingests passive signals — wearable activity, aggregated claims, and standard EHR data through secure FHIR connections — with no new hardware for employees to wear or apps to baby-sit.
- Risk scoring: signals are combined into a 12-month behavioral-risk score, identifying the small percentage of a population most likely to develop a high-cost condition.
- Care routing: identified members are connected to existing preventive programs — coaching, primary care, condition management — before symptoms surface.
Our boundaries, stated plainly
BR2H does not diagnose disease and does not replace medical judgment. Scores are tools for benefits leaders and care teams, and clinical decisions belong to clinicians and the individuals themselves. Privacy is architectural, not contractual: individual data is protected, analyses run at the cohort level wherever possible, and employees can see how their data is used. We publish our model performance honestly, including where it underperforms.
For employers and health plans that want prevention aimed where it changes outcomes — not where the poster looks good — BR2H turns data that already exists into a head start on health.
